A pleasant ride in this morning - went the way I’d been going last week, so making it a 20 mile ride. The unlit country road was noticeably a little lighter this morning which made it not quite so dicey. Hit a pot hole at speed which managed to break my light bracket – a little miffed! Traffic was much heavier than it had been last week – could be because it was Monday – had the effect of slowing me down a bit but also breaks the rhythm having to weave around standing traffic. Why can drivers not form a neat line, I would not mind going up the inside of a line of traffic or the outside but its just a real pain when you have to keep swopping in order to get past .
