What a day, the weather has made thing quite difficult. The rain this morning was not good. It took a concerted effort to get myself up and out and in to the issing rain. Got in 35 miles or so, had time to fit another 6 or 7 in but my bladder would not allow it, and as I knew I had time after work I though a loo stop an early shower and a coffee was a good option. I swapped the rain for the late afternoon wind; there were times when the wind almost brought me to a stand still. One section of road usually sees me freewheeling at about 34 mph, not today; pedalling hard only got me up to the heady heights of 24mph. I do hope that May is not windy. Anyway 250 miles covered since Monday. Should hit 300 by the end of tomorrow then see what I can squish in at the weekend.
