That was hard but worth it. I pushed myself this morning. 44:10 for 10k. Still no up there on the all time standings. Back to the sit ups 100 done another 100 and then coffee and shower. Oh then work.

  1. Mr Holmes! Good on you for taking on such a mammoth task for such a good cause. I will pledge a few pennies later on (I'm in work right now - sssshh!).

For much the same reason as you, I'll be running the Paris Marathon in April - a piddly 2.91% of the total distance you'll be covering ;-) So as a runner, I'd that's pretty good going for a 10k - nice one!

I might steal your blog idea for my own ends, too, so thanks for the inspiration!

Seriously, best of luck. Good man.

  2. hello Ed, I would never have guessed it was 14 years. It odd I guess you must be about 25 or so, but in my head I can see a 12 year old. I like to see the fact that you managed to get a percentage sum in to your comment - your maths teacher would be proud!. As I'm sure you know though its not just the distance of the event its the training miles that you have to clock up. Good luck with the run, If you set up a blog let me know, I'd be very interested to see what goes on in somebody elses head.
