I think I picked a good week to have a rest. The weather is not really very good for cycling. The wind is a nightmare, whilst the brief bit of tail wind I have enjoyed was great, the almost constant head wind has made at really difficult to breath. But its the side winds that are the worst, bazing along a built up street - all is well, come to a side road, suddenly no shelter from the side wind and you find yourself forced in to the middle of the road by the sudden gust. 'not likey' Planning an early start tomorrow - up and out by 6. Could be out towards ladybower or might have to go to Manchester to meet a man about a chain - but one way or another I am looking for about 60 miles - same again on Sunday that will give me about 175 for the week - as a week off that still looks like quite a lot. I think thats a good thing - or is it?
