Second 'down' day only did about 12 miles - to and from work - feels a bit odd, feels like I should have done more. I also need to make sure I don't over eat. I am already used to eating more than a 'normal' bloke. Last week as I was doing about 35 miles a day I was OK for an extra 1600 calories or so over the standard 2500. But if I am not doing the miles I must lay off the grub a bit - a shame really as I do like my food.
I don't know if I ever manage to make up the calories! I never really keep tabs on it. Anyway, can't you just call it carb loading? Your body will use it up soon enough :-)
